Regan Robison

Regan Roger Robison, a 23-year veteran of the Navy, died Saturday, May 1, 2004, at his home in Silverdale, Wash., at the age of 64.

While in the Navy, Robison reached the rank of Chief Petty Officer with numerous citations. After his retirement in 1982, he worked for 15 years as a security liaison for the Navy Exchange at Naval Station Bremerton.

Robison was born July 17, 1939, in Sparta, Ill., to George and Fay (Higgins) Robison. He married his wife Karen M. (Gunderson) Robison on Jan. 11, 1975.

Among his interests were camping, hunting, fishing, woodworking and collecting stamps and coins from around the world.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Robison, of Silverdale; his sons David and Christopher Robison of Vancouver, Wash.; and his sister, Roxie Fairall of Bremerton.

A memorial service is planned for 4:30 p.m. today, May 5, at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Bremerton. His body will be cremated and scattered at sea in a Navy ceremony.
