Paul Gene Smith, 65, passed away on April 22, 2014 in Poulsbo. Born on April 8, 1949 in Whitelake Township, Michigan, to Paul Branum and Marilyn Norma (Case) Smith.

After attending Milford High School, he served in the U.S. Navy from 1968-1972. During that time, he was stationed in Vietnam during the war.

Paul met the love of his life, Tonja Diane (Weightman), and they married on Nov. 28, 1970.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Marlene Beebe. He is survived by his wife, Tonja; son, Nevada Smith; daughter, Stacie Leage; brother, Mike Smith; sisters, Penny Krupinski and Cheryl LaPonsey; and three grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held on May 3, 11 a.m., at Gateway Fellowship in Poulsbo.
