Ollie A. Bjorback

Ollie A. Bjorback, 80

Hansville resident Ollie Amos Bjorback died Oct. 12, 2004 in Hansville. He was 80.

Bjorback was born to Ollie and Clara (Larson) Bjorback in Minneapolis, Minn. on July 26, 1924.

He married Dolores Quinnell in May 1952 in Grandview.

Bjorback graduated from North Central High School in Spokane in 1941 and then Whitman College in Walla Walla in 1952.

He served in the U.S. Army 79th artillery division from 1943-1946, receiving four battle (campaign) stars for his European service.

Bjorback worked for Seafirst Bank for 37 years, retiring in 1985. He later co-owned Soundstyles with his wife and daughter Jenny.

He enjoyed music, travel, computers and photography.

Bjorback is survived by his wife Dolores (Quinnell) Bjorback of Hansville; sons Kris (Roxanne) Bjorback, Glen Bjorback, Leif (Karen) Bjorback and Eric (Jana) Bjorback; daughter Jenny (Mike) Murphy; brother Bob (Judy) Bjorback; seven grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren.

Services were held Oct. 16 at Christ Lutheran Church in Edmonds. Burial was at the Hansville Cemetery.
