Norman Andrews

Norman Harrison Andrews

February 27, 1939 – January 8, 2016

Norman Harrison Andrews, 76, of Poulsbo passed away Jan. 8 at Harrison Medical Center, with family at his side.

After graduating high school, Norman served honorably in the Navy for four years and shortly after married Karen (Hansen) of Bainbridge Island. She preceded Norman in death. They raised two sons, Mark Andrews (Robin) of Bremerton, and Darrell Andrews (Karen) of Monroe; and one daughter, Michelle Andrews of Poulsbo. Norman is also survived by his mother, Barbara Andrews; sisters, Marian and Kathy; and brother, Jim, all of California. He is survived by his second wife, Tovi (Paul), and her son, Keith Cufley.

A creative problem-solver, Norman will be missed for his warm and generous nature, and for his skill as the “Go-To Man” for problems involving plumbing, machinery, electrical, welding, winemaker, wood working, coconut husking and pretty much anything else needing work.

Services for Norman are scheduled 1-5 p.m. Feb. 21 at the Poulsbo Sons of Norway. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Humane Society or to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are entrusted to The Stone Chapel Poulsbo Mortuary.
