Mildred E. Pratt, 92

Poulsbo resident Mildred E. Pratt died Dec. 6, 2005 in Poulsbo. She was 92.

She was born to John Phillip and Mary (Woods) Adams in Poulsbo on June 15, 1913.

Pratt married Edward Robert Pratt.

She was a devoted homemaker and worked for Keyport Torpedo Station during World War II.

Pratt was active in community service with the Suquamish Tribe and enjoyed crocheting, quilting, canning, sewing and the Mariners.

She served on the tribal council, the community action board, Seattle Indian Health Board and the Suquamish Parent Indian Education Committee.

Pratt is survived by her sons James D. Pratt, Willard W. Pratt and Harold L. Pratt; daughters Camilla E. Pratt and Agnes T. Pratt; brother Bernard J. Adams; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edward, siblings Margaret, Therese, Harvey and David, grandchildren Kerry Agibinik and an infant boy and great-grandson Mathias Hofseth.

A visitation will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 12 at The Stone Chapel. A Rosary will be held at 10 a.m. Dec. 13 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church followed by an inurnment and a memorial service and luncheon at the Suquamish Tribal Center.
