Marylou Aske

Marylou Aske, 65

Former Poulsbo resident Marylou Aske died Aug. 26, 2006 in Port Ludlow. She was 65.

Aske was born to Art and Helen (Halverson) Maki in Port Gamble on Jan. 14, 1941.

She married Larry D. Aske on Sept. 22, 1959 in Bremerton.

Aske graduated from North Kitsap High School.

She worked as a homemaker.

She enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, crafts and her dog, “Brandy.”

Aske is survived by her husband Larry Aske; her daughters Linda Aske of Poulsbo, Laurie (Tom) Harney of Poulsbo, Leann (Shane) Wynia of Poulsbo and Lisa Aske of Phoenix, Ariz.; her brother Richard (Kathy) Maki of Kingston; her sister Shirley (Tom) Kearney of Port Ludlow; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Aug. 31 at The Stone Chapel in Poulsbo.
