Mary M. Wilson, 83

Poulsbo resident Mary M. Wilson died Dec. 10, 2005 in Poulsbo. She was 83.

She was born to Elwin L. and Clara A. McCormick in Ludington, Mich. on July 9, 1922.

Wilson married Charles S. Wilson on July 27, 1947 in Torrington, Wyo.

She attended Colorado Women’s College in Denver and graduated from Western Michigan in 1945 with a degree in occupational therapy.

Wilson was a devoted homemaker.

She enjoyed knitting, bird-watching and spending time with her grandchildren.

Wilson is survived by her son David (Cheryl) Wilson of Missoula, Mont.; daughter Ann (Jack) Wallgren of Poulsbo; sister Elizabeth Cochran of Phoenix, Ariz.; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Wilson and son Stephen Wilson.

A remembrance gathering for family and friends will be held at 1 p.m. Dec. 20 at the clubhouse at Viking Park in Poulsbo.
