Marian Tague

Marian Tague, 83

Marian H. Tague of Indianola died March 2, 2006. She was 83.

Tague was born to Edward and Caroline (Horton) Kirsch on Sept. 9, 1922 in Burton, Neb.

She married Rev. Robert Tague Aug. 16, 1957.

Tague graduated from Northwest Bible College in Kirkland in 1950.

She was a teacher for children’s ministries and worked for Boeing and Crista Ministries. She and her husband also worked in many churches on the Kitsap Peninsula before retiring from Indianola Community Church in 1991.

Tague enjoyed writing poetry and short stories and loved music.

Tague is survived by sons Michael D. Tague of Poulsbo, Charles R. Tague of Nampa, Idaho; daughter Victoria L. VandeGriend of Edmonds; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Robert D. Tague.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. March 19 at the Indianola Church.
