Margaret M. Watson, 84

Margaret M. Watson of Poulsbo died May 23, 2004. She was 84.

Watson was born to Ulrich J. and Minnie (Whichman) Huggler in Tacoma on Oct. 30, 1919.

She graduated from high school in Tacoma in 1937.

Watson worked as a sales clerk for both David’s 5 & 10 and Snelson’s Department Store in Poulsbo. She retired in 1972.

She loved to garden and helped out at the Poulsbo Senior Center. Watson was a member of First Lutheran Church in Poulsbo.

Watson is survived by her daughters Nina (Keith) Peterson of Poulsbo and Marlene (Ron) Bodwell of Graham; brother Fred Huggler; five grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband William D. Watson in 1998.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 27 and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 28 and funeral will be held at 2 p.m. May 28 at The Stone Chapel at Cherry Grove, 22272 Foss Rd. NE in Poulsbo.

Cremation will follow the funeral and inurnment will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Bremerton.
