Kelly Nausid, 24

Kelly Nausid of Ketchikan, Alaska, died Dec. 29, 2007 in Ketchikan. She was 24.

Nausid was born to Doug and Tris Nausid in Ketchikan on May 22, 1983.

She graduated from University of Hawaii with a dual major in English and broadcast journalism.

Nausid enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, fishing, running, swimming, hanging out on the beach and dancing.

Nausid is survived by her brother Ty of Ketchikan, Alaska; parents Doug and Tris Nausid of Ketchikan; grandparents Jean and Frank Nausid and Bill Ellis of Poulsbo; aunts and uncles Randy Nausid of Seattle, Cindy Nausid and Richard Nichols of Poulsbo, Susan Nausid of Poulsbo, Bill and Connie Ellis of Seattle, Barb Ellis-Danford and Mike Danford of Suquamish and other aunts and uncles on the East Coast; and cousins Ali, Grant, Amber, Tasha, Tara, Isabella, Amy, Jodi, Chris, Kevin and Emily.

Services were held on Jan. 3 in Ketchikan.
