Joseph P. Ochota, 82

Lt. Col. Joseph P. Ochota of Poulsbo died Sept. 18, 2007.

He was 82.

Ochota was born on Oct. 14, 1924.

He served in the United States Air Force and received the Soldiers Medal.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Miriam, of Poulsbo; daughters Barbara and Julie; son David; and grandson Chris.

A private celebration of his life will be held on Oct. 14 to commemorate his birthday.
