Joanna Serwold, 75

Former Poulsbo resident Joanna Serwold died Nov. 28, 2006 on Orcas Island. She was 75.

Serwold was born to Olaf and Helen Serwold in Poulsbo on Aug. 26, 1931.

She married John Williams in March 1961 at Poulsbo Lutheran Church in Poulsbo.

She graduated from Poulsbo High School and earned her nursing degree from Tacoma General.

Serwold is survived by her daughters Helsa and Greta; and two granddaughters.

A private memorial was held on Orcas Island.
