Jerry Glen Crabtree, 87, of Kingston, Washington, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2025. Born on February 26, 1938, to Lisa (Ester Elizabeth Carlson) and Byron Crabtree in Port Gamble, WA, Jerry lived a full and hardworking life rooted in family and the outdoors.
He graduated from North Kitsap High School in 1956 as the class valedictorian.
Jerry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elaine, who passed on February 7, 2022. Together, they built a life filled with love, resilience, and dedication.
He is survived by his children: Connie (Murphy), Glen Crabtree, Shelly (Schaefbauer), and Michael Crabtree; his grandchildren: Shannon Witt, Jason Crabtree, Peter Crabtree, Joslisa Durant, and Timothy Crabtree; and ten great-grandchildren.
A well-known figure throughout Kitsap County, Jerry founded his well drilling business in 1962, earning a reputation for integrity and hard work. Beyond his professional life, he found joy in hunting, fishing, and raising cattle—pursuits that reflected his deep connection to the land and his community.
A private gathering for immediate family will be held to honor Jerry’s life and legacy.
