James F. Fulton, 76

James F. Fulton died Sept. 2, 2006 in Bremerton. He was 76.

Fulton was born to Harry Robert Fulton and Angeline Petersen in Port Gamble on June 14, 1930.

He was a combat veteran of the Army, serving at Heart Break Ridge. He was a member of the Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe.

Fulton is survived by his sons Fred “Brown” Fulton and Brandon Fulton; his daughters Brenda Seachord, Debbie Carpenter, Carrie Callihoo and Jamie Aikman; his sister Mildred DeCoteau; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Fulton was preceded in death by his siblings Irene Purser, Russell Fulton Sr., Harold Fulton, Inez Wellman, Harry Fulton II, Ella George, Thelma Oya, Angeline Charles, Ken Fulton, Fred Fulton and Reginald Fulton.

Services were held on Sept. 8, 2006 at the Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribal Center Gym.
