James D. Omalanz, 55

James D. Omalanz died Aug. 29, 2006 in Belfair. He was 55.

Omalanz was born to Walt and Ruth (Cain) Omalanz in Ballard on July 16, 1951.

He married Susan Omalanz.

Omalanz worked at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 33 years.

He is survived by his wife Susan Omalanz; his daughters Jodi Omalanz and Gina Omalanz; his step-daughter Heather Golding; his brother Robert “Butch” Omalanz; his sisters Barbara Wallick, Mary Hendricks, and Jeanie Omalanz-Hood; his parents Walt and Ruth Omalanz and one grandchild.

Services were Sept. 9, 2006 at The Stone Chapel in Poulsbo.
