John H. “Jack” Lawrence, Indianola, died of cancer Dec. 8 at Harrison Hospital. He was 47 years old.
He was born May 16, 1954 in Yakima to Charles R. and Anne R.(Berg) Lawrence.
In l972, he graduated from North Kitsap High School.
He served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years, retiring in 1992 as an E-7.
His interests included baseball, football and wrestling. He was a member of St. Olaf’s Church in Poulsbo.
He is survived by his fiancee Marianne Gagne, Indianola; ward Frank Woodsum, Indianola; daughter Starlynn Gagne, Indianola; brothers James R. William J. Lawrence and Donald C. McKinney, all of Suquamish; sisters Marjorie R. Lanegan, Carnation, Marilyn G. Jones of Suquamish and Barbara A. Lawrence of Kingston and one grandchild
