Helen E. Morris, 95

Helen E. Morris of Bremerton died Jan. 28, 2007 in Bremerton. She was 95.

Morris was born to Miles and Corda Hendricks in Oklahoma City, Okla. on Jan. 28, 1912.

She married Lloyd Morris on Sept. 9, 1933 in California.

She graduated from high school and Santa Ana Junior College, where she received an associate’s degree.

She worked at the Orange County (Calif.) Courthouse prior to her marriage and then became a homemaker.

She enjoyed badminton, tennis, golf, dancing and visiting with friends.

Morris is survived by sons Gary (Lila) Morris of Hansville and Bart (Kathy) Morris of Spokane; daughter Adrienne (John) Flavia of Littleton, Colo.; seven grandchildren; and eight grandchildren.

Morris was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Morris; and sisters Betty and Billie.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Feb. 3 at First Lutheran Church in Poulsbo.
