Harold E. Gibson, 64

Harold E. Gibson of Poulsbo died Dec. 1, 2003. He was 64.

Gibson was born in Holton, Kan. on Dec. 18, 1938.

Gibson married Audrey L. Gibson on August 28, 1965 in Glendora, Calif.

He graduated from North Kitsap High School in 1957 and from Apprenticeship School at Pasadena City College for sheet metal workers in Pasadena, Calif. in 1966, where he graduated in the top 10 of his class.

Gibson served as a mechanic in the U.S. Air Force from 1958 to 1962. He was a sheet metal worker in Swanlund of Silverdale for 11 years before retiring in 2001.

He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers International Association Local 66. He enjoyed dog training, landscaping, carpentry, boating and fishing. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Poulsbo.

Gibson is survived by his wife Audrey L. Gibson of Poulsbo; son Bradley H. Gibson of Poulsbo and daughter Dawn D. (Kurt) Gibson-Moter of Poulsbo.

He was preceded in death by his sister Virginia C. Gibson.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Dec. 9 at First Lutheran Church in Poulsbo.

Funeral arrangements are being taken care of by The Stone Chapel at Cherry Grove Memorial Park in Poulsbo. An inurnment will take place at Poulsbo City Cemetery.
