Glen A. Odle, 87

Glen A. Odle of Silverdale died March 10, 2007 in Bremerton. He was 87.

Odle was born to Mosie Frank and Inez Beulah (Gibson) Odle in Seattle on Feb. 17, 1920.

He married Shirley Marion Cross on May 6, 1942 in San Francisco, Calif.

He graduated from Bellevue High School in 1938. He attended Seattle Pacific College and graduated from Northwest Bible College in Kirkland in 1952.

He was a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1942 to 1946.

He worked as an executive for Pacific NW Bell until 1978.

He enjoyed golf, fishing and gardening. He was a member of Christ Memorial Church in Poulsbo.

Odle is survived by his wife Shirley Odle of Silverdale; daughters Kathy (Dave) Schilperoort of Chehalis, Nancy (Kevin) Fordney of Vancouver and Cindy (Bill) Morris of Silverdale; sisters Ardis (Dick) Ashton of Bellevue, Muriel (Marshall) Adams of Gig Harbor; and six grandchildren.

Odle was preceded in death by brothers Phil Odle and Willard Odle and his son Steven Odle.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. March 24 at Christ Memorial Church in Poulsbo.
