Frederick Turner

Frederick Turner, 75

Poulsbo resident Frederick Morrison Daniel Turner died Dec. 16, 2005 in Port Orchard. He was 75.

Turner was born to Frederick Morrison Sr. and Elizabeth (Brushe) Turner in Roxbury, Mass. on Dec. 10, 1930.

He married Wanda Turner.

Turner served in the U.S. Army during the Korean and Vietnam wars, retiring as a Master Sergeant. He was also a member of the Association of the U.S. Army and the Non-commissioned Officer Association. He was Roman Catholic.

Turner is survived by his wife Wanda Turner of Poulsbo; sons David A. Turner, Michael J. Turner and John S. Turner; daughter Catherine M. Wolf; and stepsons Marshall L. Owen and Philip C. Long.

He was preceded in death by his parents and stepdaughter Ruth Ann McHugh.

Services were held Dec. 22 at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Poulsbo and Dec. 23 at Tahoma National Cemetery. He was buried at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent.
