Frances Sumrall, 89

Frances Dee Sumrall of Poulsbo died Jan. 20, 2007 in Poulsbo. She was 89.

Sumrall was born to Walter and Florence Lindabury in Charleston, S.C. on Dec. 20, 1917.

She married Walter Sumrall on Jan. 5, 1935.

They enjoyed almost 53 years together before his death in July 1987.

She enjoyed crocheting many colored blankets for friends and was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses for 34 years.

Sumrall is survived by her son James (Rowena) Sumrall of Missouri; daughter Martha Mitchell of Poulsbo; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Sumrall was preceded in death by her husband Walter Sumrall in 1987.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 27 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Poulsbo.
