Evan Alexander Marak, 16

Evan Alexander Marak died suddenly on June 21 while attending a rehearsal for a church youth dance festival in Tacoma. He was 16.

Marak was born on March 25, 1992 in Bremerton and lived in Kitsap County throughout his life.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Silverdale Third Ward.

He attended Klahowya Secondary School and enjoyed listening to his music, playing the drums, cooking and riding his dirt bike.

He is survived by his mother Carla Gilham and his step-father Jason Gilham and his father Dale Marak.

He also leaves behind siblings Monica Phillips, Michael and Derrick Medina, Chelsea Marak, Samantha, Nicholas, Alexander Gilham and many other loving family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on June 27 from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints — Silverdale Stake Center, located at 9256 Nels Nelson Road NW, Bremerton.

The funeral ceremony will follow at 1 p.m. at the church.

Inurnment will be private. A public reception will be held following the service at the church hall.
