Eric R. Schreck, 23

Eric Robert Schreck died Oct. 16, 2006 in Pittsfield, Mass. He was 23.

Schreck was born to Marlene and Peter J. Schreck in Calais, Maine on March 4, 1983.

Schreck graduated from Central Kitsap High School in 2001 and attended the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. He also attended one semester at the Disney College Program in 2005.

He was a talented dancer, student and free spirit. His passion was theater and dance, and he enjoyed being on stage, choreographing or teaching children hip hop dance.

Schreck is survived by his mother and stepfather Marlene and Michael Mitchell of Silverdale; sisters Shalene Mitchell of Silverdale, and Emilija and Beth Schreck of Martha’s Vineyard, Mass.; brother Timothy Schreck of Martha’s Vineyard, Mass.; grandparents Joseph and Kathleen Schreck of Belgrade Lakes, Maine and Paul and Joyce Weber of Eastport, Maine; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Schreck was preceded in death by his father Peter J. Schreck.

A memorial service was held Oct. 20 at Crossroads Neighborhood Church in Bremerton.
