Edward McLachlan

Edward McLachlan, 80

Kingston resident Edward McLachlan died peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his family on June 17, 2007 at his home. He was 80.

McLachlan was born to Edward and Helena (Hudson) McLachlan in Dublin, Ireland.

He married Judy Mulligan in 1948.

McLachlan and his family moved to Canada in 1954, California and then Kingston in 1969.

He worked at Gould Electronics in Keyport.

McLachlan was a loving father and grandfather and enjoyed fireworks, jokes, fishing and gardening. He was a past president of the parish council at St. Olaf Catholic Church, a Kingston volunteer firefighter and a leader of the 4-H community.

McLachlan is survived by his son Alan McLachlan of Poulsbo; his daughter Jackie (Brian) Koreski of Seattle; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife Judy McLachlan.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. July 2, 2007 at St. Olaf Catholic Church.
