Diane (Wing) Deardorff was born in Bremerton on June 7, 1951 to Fred and Leona (Radovich) Wing of Tracyton and passed away on January 4, 2024. Diane was a lifelong resident of Tracyton and graduated from Central Kitsap High School in 1969. She married Jim Deardorff on July 28, 1973 at the Silverdale United Methodist Church and were married until Jim’s death in 2015. She spent her time raising their two children—Angela and Mike—and working as a medical clerk in Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, where she retired in 2016. She enjoyed attending car shows with Jim and their 1970 Buick GS. She was also a lifelong animal lover and had many beloved family pets over the years. She never tired of watching the sun set behind the Olympic Mountains, spending summer evenings outside, and enjoying the natural beauty of Tracyton and the Kitsap Peninsula.

Diane is survived by Angela (Matthew) Zeigenfuse; son, Mike Deardorff; brothers, Fred (Barbara) Wing and Gary (Melinda) Wing.

Besides her husband Jim, Diane was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Joan Simmons.

Memorial to be held at Tracyton United Methodist Church on Saturday, June 15th at 11am, with internment to follow. Donations can be made to PAWS of Bremerton and the Tracyton Library. Arrangements entrusted to Lewis Chapel.
