David Eugene Ringer, 72, born Sept 30, 1940, passed away Oct. 25, 2012 in his Bremerton home, surrounded by family, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. After six years of service in the U.S. Navy, David and his wife Jean moved their family to Bremerton where he continued his service as a civil service electrician for 35 years at PSNS, Manachester Fuel Department and Bangor NSB.
David enjoyed the last 14 years in retirement spending time with his family. He enjoyed camping, golf, helping others and taking a moment to appreciate life’s beauty. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jean; brothers, Clifford and John (Dottie);
sister Verda Farnham; son, Kevin (Kim); daughters, Vickie (Rob) Wiederrich and Tina
(Michael) Backstrom; and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Ruby (Stuve) Ringer.
There was a graveside service Oct. 29 at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent.
