David Audean Gayman of Kingston died July 15. He was 73.

Gayman was born March 12, 1937, to Harold and Clara Gayman in Winnona, Minn.

After a long career he and his wife of 50 years, Nancy, retired in Kingston, where he managed the Bayview Estates. Later he became the custodian of Kingston Christian Church.

Gayman was preceeded in death by his parents, brothers Harry and Don, and sisters Beverly and Florence.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; sons Richard (Marsha) of Olympia, JD (Nancy) of Olalla, David of Port Orchard and Don (Elena) of Portland, Ore.; daughter Lois (Pat) Greisen of Olympia; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A potluck celebration will be held Saturday, Aug. 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Seaview Terrace Estates, 14985 Starr Road, Port Orchard. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the family, 4405 Beach Drive East, Port Orchard, WA 98366.
