Colleen M. Barrett, 76

Poulsbo resident Colleen M. Barrett died Feb. 28, 2006 in Bremerton. She was 76.

She was born to Melvin A. and Seretta O. Johnsen on Feb. 9, 1930 in Bear River, Utah.

She married Robert V. Barrett.

Barrett worked as a waitress.

She enjoyed reading, crafting and sewing. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She is survived by son Robert M. (Patrice) Barrett of Rocklin, Calif.; daughters Linda (Johnny) Carter of Poulsbo and DeeAnn (John) Courtney of Sacramento, Calif.; brothers Lee Johnsen and Keith Johnsen; sister Evelyn Call, nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. March 29 at Poulsbo LDS Church. Services at Cherry Grove Memorial Park will take place at a later date.
