Charles E. Plummer died Oct. 18 in Bremerton. He was 59.
He was born Oct. 5, 1950, to Earle and Maxine Plummer in Tacoma. He married Pamela Nash Sept. 8, 1984 in Tacoma.
Plummer worked as a park ranger for Snake Lake Nature Center in Tacoma and more recently as a wildlife biologist for the Washington State Deptartment of Transportation. He moved to the Kitsap Peninsula to be closer to his love of the outdoors.
Plummer enjoyed hiking, camping, bird watching, gardening, and building his own computer and speaker systems.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife, Pam; sons: Matthew and Andrew; a daughter, Emily; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 24 at Hansville Community Church, 7543 Twin Spits Road, Hansville.
