Carolyn Mock

Carolyn Mock, 71

Carolyn (George) Mock died Feb. 26, 2006 in Suquamish. She was 71.

She was born to Ruby and Bennie George Jr. on Aug. 2, 1934.

Mock graduated from North Kitsap High School in 1952. She then worked for Bell Telephone Company in Seattle. She married Donald Mock and they moved to Chicago and she transferred to the Bell Telephone Company there. After retirement, she moved back to the Port Madison Tribal Reservation.

She was loved by her family and friends. She was a Suquamish Tribal Elder.

She is survived by her mother; brother Donald (Merrilee) George of Bellevue; sister Lois (Jim) Porter of Havasu Lake, Calif.; and several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. March 18 at the Suquamish Tribal Center on Sandy Hook Road. Donations can be sent to Liberty Shores Assisted Living, 19360 Viking Avenue NE, Poulsbo, WA 98370.
