Brian P. Kasnick, 39

Issaquah resident Brian Patrick Kasnick died Sept. 18, 2004 in Issaquah. He was 39.

He was born to Patrick Kasnick and Feryl Gay-Honorott in Juneau, Alaska on April 17, 1965.

Kasnick graduated from Chugiak High School in Eagle River, Alaska in 1983.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1983-1993, achieving rank of sergeant and was an honorably discharged.

Kasnick worked in several factories in the Tacoma area.

He enjoyed spreading the Word of God and was active in his church and spent time with the Seattle Men’s Mission. He also enjoyed spending time visiting family in Poulsbo.

Kasnick is survived by his brother Tim (Virginia) Kasnick of Homer, Alaska; twin sister Julie Kasnick of Asheville, N.C.; mother Feryl Honorott of Israel; father Patrick (Diddy) Kasnick of Kirkland; grandmother Dorothy Iverson Kasnick of Poulsbo; four nephews; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Sept. 25 at Vinland Lutheran Church Cemetery, followed by a celebration of life held at his aunt’s home in Poulsbo. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of The Lewis Chapel in Poulsbo.
