Arnold Theodore William Neubauer died Aug. 25. He was 91.

Neubauer was born Jan. 31, 1918, in Sherwood, N.D., to Reinhold and Jesse (Revo) Neubauer. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and in 1951 moved his family to Washington State. Neubauer enjoyed family get-togethers, watching the Mariners and going to Point No Point Casino.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Murial; sister, Leone Rufenacht of Kent; and two brothers: his twin brother Arthur (Pat) of Seattle and Ervin of Mohall, N.D.; his children: Sharon Holt (Arnold), Diane Stewart (Ron Pittman), Terry Neubauer (Ronda), Kathy Merriman (Guy), Linda Johns, Tammy West (Steve) and Darren Neubauer (Vicki); 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 17 at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent and a celebration of life will be from 4-8 p.m. Sept. 18 at the Eagles Hall in Poulsbo.
