Arnold M. Harsila, 59
Keyport resident Arnold Martin Harsila died Dec. 28, 2005 in Bremerton. He was 59.
Harsila was born to Onni and Irma Harsila in Seattle on Oct. 21, 1946.
He married Lori Gayle Harsila on March 21, 1987 in Ocean Shores.
Harsila graduated from North Kitsap High School in 1965.
He worked as a crane operator out of Shop 07 at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 28 years before retiring in 2003.
Harsila served in the U.S. Army from Aug. 24, 1966 to Aug. 23, 1972, earning a rank of SPT5 Sergeant. He is a Vietnam veteran.
Harsila enjoyed fishing, movies and had most recently taken up golf.
Harsila is survived by his wife Lori Gayle Harsila of Poulsbo; daughters Megan Mae Harsila, Chelsea Rae Harsila and McKinzie Rose Harsila, all of Poulsbo, and Michelle Hardy, of Little Rock, Ark.; sister Kathryn Jean O’neil of Shoreline; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Onni and Irma Harsila.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Jan. 6 at The Stone Chapel in Poulsbo.
