Arlene J. Roberts, 71

Arlene J. Roberts died Aug. 1, 2005 in Poulsbo. She was 71.

She was born to Arthur J. and Thora E. (Johnson) Vig in Aneta, N.D. on November 9, 1933.

Roberts married Richard “Dick” L. Roberts Sept. 12, 1953 in Suquamish.

She graduated from high school and was a homemaker.

Roberts was active in Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts and enjoyed bird watching. She was a sports enthusiast.

Roberts was a Catholic

Roberts is survived by husband Richard “Dick” L. Roberts of Poulsbo; sons Dwight (Karen) Roberts of Kingston and James A. Roberts of Poulsbo; daughters Nancy Genauer of Tacoma and Lynn (Rod) Seevers of Poulsbo; sister Sandra Burns of Conroe, Texas; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Roberts was preceded in death by brother Robert Vig and sister Dolores Nerwinski.

A gathering of friends and family will be from 4-8 p.m. Aug. 10 at the home of Lynn Seevers in Poulsbo.

Inurnment will be at Cherry Grove Memorial Park in Poulsbo.
