Michael Najarian, 71, of Bainbridge Island, WA died on August 20, 2023, due to complications of Parkinson’s, at his home surrounded by his family.

Michael was born and spent his childhood in Fresno, CA. After high school, Michael moved to San Jose, CA where he earned his BA from San Jose State University. During his undergraduate years, Michael traveled the world. This love of travel led him to open travel agencies in San Jose and Santa Cruz, California. Michael met his first wife, Tina. Although they decided to end their marriage, they stayed good friends and co-parented their daughter, Cori.

In the early 1990s. Michael moved to Phoenix, AZ, and became involved with software integration between airlines and travel agencies. He also became involved with the “Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus” phenomenon. He started working with the author and became the coordinator and promoter of the book throughout the world via events and seminars. Michael also created and hosted the Mars Venus syndicated radio program. During this time, he met the love of his life, Susan. Together they had three children, Natalie, John Michael, and Caroline. Included in his family was his dog, Sedona and cat, Jerry.

In the early 2000’s Michael and his family moved to Bainbridge Island. Michael’s compassion and understanding of human nature led him to open his marriage and family counseling practice.

Michael truly manifested his destiny. He loved and lived life to its fullest. His joys were his family and his friends. Those who knew him well, heard him speak lovingly of his four children. He was so proud of each one. His special joy was his grandson.

Michael is survived by his wife, Susan, his children: Cori Laemmel (Tyson), Natalie (Ben Pentz, partner), John Michael (Kathryn Tibbens, fiancée) and Caroline. His grandson Lucca Laemmel. His Brother Thomas Najarian (Jan).
