Aloha Waggoner

Aloha Waggoner, 64

Former Poulsbo resident Aloha Ann Carlson Waggoner died Aug. 13, 2006 in Plano, Texas. She was 64.

Waggoner was born to Gerald and June Carlson in Bremerton on Jan. 3, 1942.

Waggoner graduated from North Kitsap High School in 1960.

She worked as a certified wedding consultant and owned a bridal shop called Perfect Wedding in Plano, Texas. She also conducted classes throughout the country training other wedding consultants.

She enjoyed planning parties, weddings and receptions for family, friends and clients.

Waggoner is survived by sons Brian (Terri) Curtis of Huntington Beach, Calif. and Dennis (Courteney) Wilson of Cary, Illin.; daughter Holly Voss of Watauga, Texas; brother Dan (Linda) Carlson of Poulsbo; mother June Carlson of Poulsbo; and five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Aug. 28, 2006 at Vinland Lutheran Church in Poulsbo with a reception following.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Waggoner’s name to the charity of one’s choosing.
