Alice Odden

Alice Odden, 84

Alice Odden of Poulsbo died March 24, 2005 in Bremerton. She was 84.

Odden was born to Nicolai and Olga (Danielson) Ulvang in Poulsbo on Aug. 5, 1920.

She married Melvin Odden on Jan. 4, 1941 in Poulsbo.

Odden graduated from Polytechnic High School in San Francisco, Calif. and attended the University of Washington in Seattle.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed family, gardening and travel. She was a member of Eastern Star.

Odden is survived by her son Randolph (Margaret) Odden of Henderson, Nev.; daughter Candace (Richard) Boyd of Poulsbo; sister Patricia Roloff of Madison, Wis.; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Odden; parents Nicolai and Olga (Danielson) Ulvang; sisters Olive Weberg and Margaret Kolb; and brother Randolph Ulvang.

A memorial service was held March 29 in Poulsbo. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home.
