Alfred Lee Phillips, 56

Poulsbo resident Alfred Lee “Butch” Phillips died March 24, 2006 in Poulsbo. He was 56.

Phillips was born to John and Roxy (Lee) Phillips in Bremerton on Aug. 8, 1949.

He attended North Kitsap High School and continued his education in the Job Corp. in Austin, Texas. Phillips was an auto and marine mechanic at Union Station in Poulsbo, Suquamish Mobil and for Bay Marine. He also served as a volunteer fireman for the Indianola Fire Department. He enjoyed Chevy trucks, attending destruction derbies, collecting license plates, trout fishing and playing Keno.

Phillips is survived by his companion Beverly L. Moff; son Tyler J. Phillips; and daughter Amy E. Phillips. There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. April 9 at the Poulsbo Eagles Hall. A private burial will take place at Breidablik Cemetery in Poulsbo.
