Those wishing to present flowers or other expressions of appreciation for slain Washington State Trooper Tony Radulescu’s life of service are asked to do so at the State Patrol District Headquarters at 4811 Werner Road in Bremerton.
A memorial site has been placed at a prominent location in front of the building.
Troopers ask flowers not be left along SR 16 at the site of the shooting. The road is narrow at that point and it’s not necessarily safe to be out beside the roadway, they said.
A donation account has been opened in Trooper Radulescu’s name, to assist his family in this time of need. Donations to the “Anthony Radulescu Memorial Fund” may be made at any Key Bank.
Gov. Chris Gregoire directed that flags at all Washington state agency buildings be lowered to half-staff March 1st. Radulescu’s memorial service, which will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday at the ShoWare Center in Kent.
The criminal investigation into the shooting remains in the hands of the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office.
