Three injured in 4-car collision on SR-303 | Bremerton Police Blotter

Three people were injured in a four-car collision on State Route 303 near Fred Meyer in Bremerton shortly before 3 p.m. June 28.

Three people were injured in a four-car collision on State Route 303 near Fred Meyer in Bremerton shortly before 3 p.m. June 28.

Four vehicles were approaching Riddell Road on southbound State Route 303 in Bremerton. A 34-year-old Port Angeles man driving an SUV was stopped for traffic. A 22-year-old California woman rear ended the Port Angeles man, a 34-year-old Fox Island man rear ended the California woman and a 22-year-old Bremerton man hit the Fox Island man.

The Port Angeles man was not injured. The California woman and Bremerton man sustained minor injuries and the Fox Island man was transported to Harrison Medical Center with back and neck pain. All vehicles were damaged to some extent.

The Bremerton man, Fox Island man and California woman were charged with following too closely.

Teen jumps out of

moving car

The Bremerton Police Department responded to a call of a vehicle hitting a pedestrian at Washington Avenue and Sixth Street in Bremerton shortly before 4:30 p.m. July 1.

Upon arrival, officers discovered that a 14-year-old girl had jumped out of a moving vehicle. She was not struck by any other vehicles.

The teen was transported to Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton with non-life threatening injuries.

Alcohol and speed were not factors in the collision and the Bremerton Police Department Traffic Division is investigating the incident.
