Kelly Marie Thomas and Daniel Laurence Mayfield are planning an April 25, 2009 wedding in Silverdale.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Robin Thomas and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Buck. She lived in Bremerton for 11 years, attended Central Kitsap High School and currently resides in San Diego.

Her fiancé is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Mayfield and the grandson of Mrs. Michelle Mayfield, Mr. and Mrs. Maury Mewes and Mr. and Mrs. Greg Olson. He graduated from Majestic Christian Academy and was active in various Central Kitsap High School athletic programs. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2007 and is currently stationed at Twenty Nine Palms, Calif.

The two met in Silverdale and started dating shortly after. A beautiful courtyard and water fountain was the backdrop when Mayfield proposed on Aug. 11, 2008 in San Diego.
