POULSBO — Winds will lighten, but the temperatures will get colder, Thanksgiving weekend.
The National Weather Service is predicting sunny skies with high temperature near 44 and north wind of 5-8 mph Thanksgiving Day. Overnight, expect freezing fog and clear skies with a low around 34 and north wind around 9 mph. expect much of the same Nov. 27-29.
The county’s Severe Weather Shelters will be open tonight through Nov. 27 for anyone needing safe The Salvation Army, 832 6th St., Bremerton; and the Kingston Community Center, 1212 NE Highway 104, Kingston. For more information, call 211 or Kitsap County Emergency Management at 360-307-5871.

Olympic College: Closed due to power outage. Poulsbo campus closed for day classes/activities. Bremerton/Shelton campuses remain open.
Spohn Road NE in Keyport is closed at both intersections with South Keyport Road NE due to fallen power lines entangled in trees.
NW Wildcat Lake Road in Bremerton is closed near the intersection with Nikomis Lane NW due to fallen power lines entangled in trees.
Sherman Hill Road NW, Poulsbo, is closed near the intersection with Dew Drop Lane NW. Wires are hanging low over the road there. Puget Sound Energy is responding. Once the lines are secured, the trees will be removed and the road reopened.
Brownsville Highway NE, Bremerton, is closed between Old Military Road and NE O’Hara Hills Drive due to fallen trees. No wires are involved. County road crews are responding to clear the road.
Brockton Avenue NE, Suquamish, is closed between NE Bell Street and Middle Street due to fallen power lines entangled in trees.
Miller Bay Road NE, Poulsbo, is closed between NE Sid Price Road and NE Wood Bay Lane due to fallen power lines.
NE Laurel Grove, Poulsbo, is closed between NE Bell Street and NE Holman Avenue due to a tree falling with power lines entangled.
NE Lincoln Road, Poulsbo, is closed between Widme Road NE and Stottlemeyer Road NE due to a fallen tree.
Olympic View Road NW, Silverdale, is closed between NW Jupiter Trail and Olympic View Loop Road NW due to a tree falling with power lines entangled.
