Children at Suquamish’s Marion Forsman-Boushie Early Learning Center raised $100 for Japan disaster relief.

“Children are naturally caring creatures and the children we are privileged to work with are no exception,” the center reported on www.suquamish.nsn.us. “When they started to become aware of the recent disaster in Japan, we knew this was a wonderful opportunity to utilize their innate compassion and funnel their boundless energy into raising funds to help with recovery efforts. Our little group of kids went from department to department at our local administration building, holding an old-fashioned coin drive, and were able to raise over $100.”
