SR 104 mowing planned for next two weeks

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 7-10 and April 14-17, state Department of Transportation maintenance crews will mow along a nearly six-mile stretch of SR 104 between Bond Road Northeast and the Hood Canal Bridge.

SHINE — Drivers traveling on State Route 104 east of the Hood Canal Bridge will see a lane closure during daylight hours over the next two weeks for mowing operations.

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 7-10 and April 14-17, state Department of Transportation maintenance crews will mow along a nearly six-mile stretch of SR 104 between Bond Road Northeast and the Hood Canal Bridge.

Over the week of April 7, crews will mow in the eastbound direction. During the week of April 14, crews will mow along westbound SR 104. Motorists are advised to expect brief delays as they approach the operation.

Mowing operations increase sight distance for motorists.
