Spaghetti feed Nov. 4 benefits Village Green

Dinner costs $10 per person. All proceeds go to the Village Green Foundation.

KINGSTON — Spaghetti lovers can help The Village Green Foundation Nov. 4 just by eating.

The Oak Table Cafe is hosting Dine out For the Village Green Community Center from 5-8 p.m.

Dinner costs $10 per person. All proceeds go to the Village Green Foundation.

Oak Table owners Ross and Nikki McCurdy are donating all the food and labor for the event.

Guests will have the opportunity to see new graphic renderings of the community center being built next to the senior apartments. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions, and purchase Village Green merchandise to support the endeavor.

The community center and library received a $100,000 donation from the Suquamish Tribe back in August. Volunteers with the Village Green Foundation estimated they still needed about $1 million for the project.

Construction estimates for the Village Green Foundation is about $6 million. The new community center and library will also house a Boys & Girls Club.
