All lanes at the Southworth ferry terminal dock have reopened for vehicle transportation as of June 10, a Washington State Ferries news release says.
But the WSF announced June 11 the Southworth terminal building is now closed as crews repair the roof and replace wooden decking around the structure. Self-service ticket kiosks inside the building are unavailable as a result. Customers will need to buy tickets online or at the toll booths. Portable bathrooms are also available.
The closure comes one month after two of the four dock lanes at the terminal were closed for maintenance work to replace wooden decking on the south side walkway with concrete. Work is expected to wrap up in early July.
