South Kitsap School District will offer all-day kindergarten at all elementary schools in the 2015-16 school year.

The program will be free at seven schools and fee based at the three remaining schools.  Free all-day Kindergarten will be offered at Manchester, Hidden Creek, Orchard Heights, East Port Orchard, Sidney Glen, Burley Glenwood and Olalla.

These are the seven schools with the highest percentage of free and reduced lunch. Half-day kindergarten will not be available at these schools.

Tuition based all-day kindergarten will be offered at Mullenix Ridge, South Colby and Sunnyslope. Tuition will be $200 per month full fee and $100 per month for families that qualify for free and reduced lunch. These three schools will also continue to offer free half-day kindergarten.

Registration can be done in-person at the school or online via the South Kitsap School District website. Placement in ADK at the tuition based schools (Mullenix Ridge, South Colby and Sunnyslope) will be made on a first come first served basis. Open enrollment and out of district registrations will be considered as space allows.
