South Kitsap High School scholarship winners announced

The South Kitsap High School Class of 2013 was awarded more than $3 million among 115 scholarships.

Scholarship were awarded to the following.

• Shannon Beisley: Montana State University’s Achievement Award ($20,000) and Port Orchard Rotary Phil Grey Scholarship ($2,000)

• Hiroshi Benavidez: Discover Idaho Access and Merit Waiver (Up to $40,000) and Gonzaga University ($20,000)

Quincy Benavidez: South Western University-Ruter Award ($64,000)- Eastern Presidential Scholarship ($48,000), Hamline University Achievement Scholarship ($56,000), St. Mary’s Trustee Scholarship ($56,000), Alfred University-Johnathan Allen Leadership Award ($44,000), Franklin Pierce University-Provost Scholarship ($68,000) and Peirce Health Scholarship ($12,000)
