Visitors to the First Friday art walk in Bremerton Jan. 6 will get a chance to see artists at work in the Collective Visions Art Gallery. Five members of the cooperative gallery will demonstrate their art style as a preview of upcoming workshops at the gallery. The workshops are suitable for all skill levels.

Five members of the cooperative gallery will demonstrate their art style as a preview of upcoming workshops at the gallery. The workshops are suitable for all skill levels.

All workshop registrants are eligible to win a French portable easel from the gallery.

Workshops and artists scheduled are:

• Life Size Clay Portraits with Janthina DuSavage, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 8, 14-15 and 21-22, $210.

Same class in four consecutive weekdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 23-27, same price.

• Encaustics with Susan Sweetwater, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 18 and 19. Fee and supplies not yet determined.

• Multi-piece waste molds with Janthina DuSavage, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 4-5 and 11-12, $210.

Same class four consecutive weekdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 20-24, same price.

• Pastel with Jackie Bush-Turner, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 25, $45.

• Polymer Clay Doll Sculpture with Janthina DuSavage, 1-4 p.m. March 5, 12, 19 and 26. $120 plus supply fee to be determined.

• Watercolor with Michelle Van Berkom, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 8, $45.

• Pastel by Synnove Pettersen-Pracha, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 15-16 and 22-23, $200 all four days or $50 each day.

• Polyurethane mold fabrication of polymer clay sculpture with Janthina DuSavage, 1-4 p.m. April 9, 16 and 23. $120 plus supply fee to be determined.

• Expressive Drawing: “Play Like Picasso, Doodle Like Da Vinci,” with Deanna Pindell, June 24 and 25. Fee not yet determined.

A $25 deposit secures a spot in class, balance due on first day of workshop.

First Friday takes place 5-8 p.m. Jan. 6 at galleries and shops in the downtown Bremerton arts district along Fourth street and Pacific avenue.
