The Sidney Art Gallery in Port Orchard will feature local Port Orchard artist Pat Meras through the end of this month with a public reception from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday.

A working artist for more than 30 years, Meras describes her art as “an attempt to convey an emotional or intuitive response to the mystery and serenity of the landscape in light and shadow.”

Meras’ work has earned recognition and more than 25 awards in regional, national and international exhibitions. The Sidney Gallery is located at 202 Sidney Avenue in Port Orchard and is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
